Project Nova™ is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for students of all abilities

Last Updated: January 15, 2026

Our Commitment

At Helios Frontier LLC, we believe that every child deserves access to quality education, regardless of their abilities. We are committed to providing an inclusive learning experience that meets the needs of all students, including those with visual, auditory, motor, and cognitive impairments.

We continually improve the user experience for everyone and apply relevant accessibility standards to ensure our platform is accessible to people with disabilities.

Conformance Status

Partial Conformance

Project Nova™ is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. "Partially conformant" means that some parts of the content do not fully conform to the accessibility standard.

We are actively working toward full WCAG 2.1 Level AA conformance and have implemented the following accessibility features:

  • Color contrast meets AA standards (4.5:1 minimum)
  • Responsive design works on all devices
  • Text can be resized up to 200% without loss of functionality
  • Keyboard navigation support for most features
  • Screen reader compatibility with ARIA labels
  • Alternative text for images and graphics

Known Limitations

Despite our best efforts, some areas of our platform may not be fully accessible. We are aware of the following limitations and are working to address them:

  • Drag-and-drop games: Some games rely on drag-and-drop interactions that may not be fully accessible via keyboard. We are implementing keyboard alternatives.
  • Interactive maps: Geography games with interactive maps may require mouse interaction. We are adding keyboard navigation and text-based alternatives.
  • Canvas-based games: Some games use HTML5 canvas elements that may not be fully accessible to screen readers. We are adding text descriptions and alternatives.
  • Color Match game: Currently uses color-only differentiation. We are adding patterns and text labels for color-blind users.

Accessibility Features

Keyboard Navigation

Most features can be accessed using only a keyboard:

  • Tab: Navigate between interactive elements
  • Enter/Space: Activate buttons and links
  • Arrow keys: Navigate within games and menus
  • Escape: Close dialogs and exit games

Screen Reader Support

Project Nova™ is compatible with popular screen readers:

  • NVDA (Windows)
  • JAWS (Windows)
  • VoiceOver (macOS, iOS)
  • TalkBack (Android)

Visual Adjustments

  • High contrast color schemes
  • Resizable text (up to 200%)
  • Clear focus indicators
  • No reliance on color alone to convey information
